Don't Press The Button — now live on FunClicker

Our fifth original lands today. One button, a voice that knows your name, no ending. Here's what's inside the v1 build.

Don't Press The Button — now live on FunClicker

Don't Press The Button is live. It's our fifth in-house build and the first endless game on FunClicker — there's no win state, no game over, no score. Just a button, a voice, and however long you're willing to stay in the room.

What's in v1

  • Four inputs staggered across the run — your name, your pet's name, your sibling's name, your parent's. The voice uses them.
  • 20-line spine of scripted reactions for the first 40 presses, plus a 60+ line random pool for the long haul.
  • Decoy questions — favourite colour, food, city. Whatever you type, the voice replies "I already knew."
  • Chaos events woven through the press count: rain, snow, screen tilt, mirror flip, button colour swaps, a clone button, heart-beat, slow-motion, static bursts, phantom presses.
  • The kitty sequence at press 100 — 35 happy lines, 35 sad, 35 very sad. The button becomes the kitty for the duration.
  • Six-button mini-game mid-run. One is correct. Twenty taps to escape.
  • Memory callbacks every 50 presses afterwards. The voice doesn't forget.

Built for mobile + desktop

DPB is DOM-based (no canvas) so it scales cleanly from phone to desktop without the input quirks canvas games inherit. Tap targets are sized for thumbs, the splash gates first input, and the settings cog pauses everything when open.

No leaderboard. No daily challenge.

This one's deliberate. The whole architecture is about Zeigarnik effect — never letting the loop close. A leaderboard would close it. A daily would close it. So neither exists.
