About Stocked

Stocked is a first-person horror game about the loneliest job in retail: refilling a convenience store after it has closed for the night. You play Mia, an employee who has been told to stay late and get the shelves ready before morning. At first nothing is out of place. The store is lit, the aisles are quiet, and your list of chores is short and simple.

That quiet is the problem. The longer the shift runs, the more the silence starts to press in, and the sense that you are not alone in the building gets harder to shake. The Stocked game takes a routine most players already understand and bends it, a little at a time, into something tense and dangerous. Even the chores matter, because the aisles you learn while stocking are the same ones you will need to know by heart later.

It is short, low-poly, and deliberately retro, with most of its fear coming from lighting, sound, and layout rather than spectacle. If you like slow-burn stories told through small details, it is well worth one night shift, and you can play Stocked online for free right here in your browser.

How to Play Stocked

  • Follow the task instructions that appear as your shift begins.
  • Collect boxes of stock from the back storage area.
  • Find the correct empty shelf and put each product where it belongs.
  • Explore the store in first person and take in the details: messages, dialogue, and objects all add to the story.
  • When the night turns, switch to stealth. Stay out of the light and move slowly.
  • Escape rather than fight. There is no combat, so hiding and getting away are your only options.

What Makes Stocked Scary

Stocked is frightening because it is familiar. Plenty of people have walked through an empty store late at night, and the game turns that memory against you. The space is small, the shelving blocks your view, and the routine of carrying boxes lulls you before anything goes wrong. When the threat finally arrives, it does not leap at the screen. It hunts slowly and patiently, and the pressure of being followed through a cramped building does the rest.

There is no weapon to fall back on. Light can give you away and running makes noise, so every move becomes a trade between speed and staying hidden. It is a quiet, creeping kind of horror rather than an action-heavy one, and it rewards players who keep their nerve.

Tips for Stocked

  • Learn the store layout during the calm opening, while you are still stocking shelves. You will need it later.
  • Make a mental note of possible escape routes as you pass them.
  • Walk instead of running once the danger shows itself. Footsteps can draw attention.
  • Keep to the dark. Lit areas make you far easier to spot.
  • Read the messages and small notes you come across. They explain what is really happening on this shift.
  • Use headphones so you can follow the sound design closely.

Who Made Stocked

Stocked was created by its independent developer and released on itch.io. We have not been able to confirm the developer's name, so we credit the original release rather than guess. FunClicker embeds that original browser build of Stocked in the frame above, exactly as it was published. We did not make the game and have not modified it.

Stocked FAQ

Is Stocked free?

Yes. Stocked is free to play in your browser on this page, with no download, no account, and nothing to buy. Load the page and your night shift starts in the game frame above. Because it is a short game, you can see a full run in one sitting, and replaying it costs nothing if you want to catch the story details you missed.

How scary is Stocked?

Quite tense. Stocked is a slow-burn psychological horror game that builds dread through silence, lighting, and the feeling of being watched inside a closed store. Once the danger shows itself, you are hunted through cramped aisles with no way to fight back. The fear comes from pressure and vulnerability rather than action, which makes it effective without needing constant shocks.

How do you play Stocked?

You play as Mia, restocking a convenience store after closing. At first that means fetching boxes from storage, working out which shelves are bare, and putting each product in its spot while exploring in first person. When the night turns dangerous, the game shifts to stealth: avoid light, move quietly, remember the layout, and escape. There is no combat at any point.

Who made Stocked?

Stocked was made by an independent developer and released on itch.io. We have not been able to confirm the developer's name, so we credit the original release rather than guessing. FunClicker embeds that original browser version of Stocked on this page. We did not create the game, and the build you play here is the one the developer published.

Can I play Stocked on mobile or Chromebook?

A Chromebook, laptop, or desktop with a keyboard and mouse is the best choice. Stocked is a first-person game where you walk around a store, carry boxes, and sneak away from a threat, and that kind of movement generally needs a keyboard. It may load on a phone or tablet, but touch alone may not give you proper control.

Is Stocked unblocked at school?

Stocked runs in a regular browser tab with no download, installer, or plugin, so there is nothing to set up. Whether it loads on a school or library network comes down to that network's filter, which is outside our control. If this page opens, the game usually will too. It is a horror game and the sound matters, so headphones help.

Does Stocked have jump scares?

Stocked is not built around jump scares. Its tension comes from a slow, persistent threat and the strain of being stalked through a cramped building rather than sudden shocks every few seconds. That can make it more nerve-racking, not less. If you prefer horror that builds steadily instead of relying on loud surprises, Stocked is a good fit.

Can you fight back in Stocked?

No. Stocked has no combat at all. Once things go wrong on Mia's shift, your options are to hide, stay quiet, and get away. Light can reveal your position and running makes noise that draws attention, so the smart approach is to move carefully and use the store layout you learned while stocking shelves to find your way out.
