About Klifur
Klifur is a squishy physics puzzle about climbing. You drag a climber's hands and feet with the mouse, one limb at a time, and try to reach the target hold on each wall.
There are 12 levels, and the goal on each is to get to the top. Once you have made it up, you can go back and try to beat the developer's best route to earn a star on each level. The bodies wobble and stretch, and that looseness is what makes a short route feel difficult.
It's a quick game. You can play Klifur online with nothing to install, and Klifur free of any download means you can be hanging off a wall in a few seconds.
How to Play Klifur
- Click and hold on a hand or foot.
- Drag it to a hold on the wall.
- Move one limb at a time to climb toward the target hold.
- Reach the top to finish the level.
- Replay a finished level and try to beat the developer's best route for a star.
What to Expect in Klifur
It's the sort of game where the controls are the challenge. Your climber is soft and a little unruly, so you have to think about where each hand and foot goes before you move it.
Levels are short, and a failed attempt tells you right away what to change. If you like physics games with a bit of wobble and a lot of replay, this fits. If you want precise, snappy controls, the squishiness will take some getting used to.
Tips for Klifur
- Plan two moves ahead. Pick the next hold before you let go.
- Keep a few limbs on the wall while you move another one.
- Do not stretch too far in one drag. Smaller reaches are steadier.
- Once you reach the top, replay for the star. The challenge changes when you chase a better route.
- Watch how the body swings. A little momentum helps if you use it deliberately.
