About Admin

Admin is a comedic point-and-click puzzle game about your first day as the new IT person at a fresh job. You thought it would be easy. It starts cheerful and turns into a mystery as you poke around the office and work out what's really going on.

Passwords sit at the center of it. You click through the office, look at what people left lying around, and gather the clues you need to get into the places and systems that matter. Typing is part of the puzzle too, which makes it a nice fit for the theme.

You can play Admin online in a browser tab. A session runs about half an hour, and the pixel art keeps the office tidy and easy to read.

How to Play Admin

  • Click around the office to look at objects and interact with what you find.
  • Collect clues. Names, notes and small details all matter in a game about passwords.
  • Use what you learn to get into the places and systems you need.
  • Click the question mark button if you're stuck. A new hint becomes available every minute.
  • Keep going until the whole story of the office comes together.

What to Expect in Admin

Admin keeps a light tone. It's comedy first, with a detective streak, and the puzzles come from observation. You're mostly reading the room and connecting small facts, not racing a clock.

It was made during a game jam, so it's compact. There's no long campaign, just a complete little mystery that you can finish in one sitting. The hint button keeps a stuck moment from ending your session: wait a minute and a fresh nudge appears.

If you like detective stories that trade grim tone for a bit of humor, Admin free in the browser is a friendly way to spend half an hour. The office is small enough that the clues stay in view, and a sequel is on the way.

Tips for Admin

  • Look at everything twice. Detective games hide answers in places that seem ordinary.
  • Note down names and odd words you see. They may come back later.
  • Use the hint button, but give yourself a minute to think first.
  • If a puzzle feels impossible, move on and come back with new information.
  • Take your time. A half hour is a short game, and there's no rush.

Who Made Admin

Admin was made by jbodah, GabeMalk, ZeroStas and released on itch.io. It was built in Godot by jbodah, GabeMalk and ZeroStas as their first game jam entry. FunClicker embeds the creator's own version so you can play it here without downloading anything. We did not make the game, and the credit for its design, code, and art belongs to its creator. You can find the original on the Admin page on itch.io.

FAQ

Is Admin free?

It's free. Admin loads right here in your browser, so there's nothing to download.

How do you play Admin?

Admin is played with the mouse. Click through the office to examine things and gather clues. If you get stuck, click the question mark button for a hint. A new hint becomes available every minute, so there's always a way forward.

What is the goal of Admin?

You're a new IT hire who finds the job is not as easy as expected. The aim is to work through the office, collect information and solve the mystery behind it. It's a detective story with comedy mixed in.

How long does Admin take to play?

A session runs about half an hour. A first run may take a little longer if you linger over the clues or wait for hints. It's a short game that you can finish in a single sitting.

That's jbodah. Admin came out on itch.io, and we link back to it from this page.

Can I play Admin on a Chromebook or phone?

A Chromebook or laptop with a mouse or trackpad works well, since the game is all clicking. A phone may be awkward, so open it in a desktop-sized browser tab if you can, where the office is easier to read.

Is Admin unblocked at school?

If your school's filter allows FunClicker, Admin unblocked runs right in the tab. Filters differ from one network to the next, so it's worth a quick try.

Is there an Admin sequel?
