About Stellar Bloom
Stellar Bloom is a calm endless runner in which you play a being from the cosmos who brings life to a world. You run across a dark planet with no sun, gather stars and turn them into flowers.
The star count matters. How many stars you grab in one jump decides how big each flower will be, so a planet of giant blooms looks very different from a tidy garden. Every planet ends up unique.
You can play Stellar Bloom online for free in your browser. All of the art and animation were made specially for it.
How to Play Stellar Bloom
- Press Space to jump.
- Press Space again in the air to double-jump.
- Collect stars as you jump.
- Grab more stars per jump for bigger flowers.
- Watch the planet fill with color.
What to Expect in Stellar Bloom
Stellar Bloom is closer to a toy than to a test. There's no violence and no pressure, and the point is to see what planet you can grow. A run takes a few minutes, so settle in for a quiet sitting.
Your jumps are your brush. A long chain of stars in one jump grows a giant flower, while small hops make a neat row of small ones. The look is dreamy and psychedelic.
Tips for Stellar Bloom
- Chain several stars in a single jump to grow larger flowers.
- Use the double-jump to reach stars that are higher up.
- Try different styles. Big and small flowers give different planets.
- Relax into the pace. The game is meant to be meditative.
- Run again to see how a second planet turns out.

FAQ
Is Stellar Bloom free?
It's free. Stellar Bloom loads right here in your browser, so there's nothing to download.
How do you play Stellar Bloom?
Press the Space bar to jump, and press it again in the air to double-jump. Collect stars as you go. Bigger star hauls per jump mean bigger flowers. Space is the only control you need.
What is the goal in Stellar Bloom?
You play a cosmic being who brings life to a planet that has no sun. Each star you gather becomes a flower, and the goal is to see what kind of planet you can create from them.
Who made Stellar Bloom?
SleepyStardusk is the creator of Stellar Bloom. We play the original itch.io build here and credit it on this page.
Is Stellar Bloom relaxing?
Yes. It's meditative and non-violent, with no enemies to fear and no timer pushing you along. Stellar Bloom is aimed at a calm, creative kind of play, and you can take it at whatever pace feels good.
Can I play Stellar Bloom on a Chromebook or phone?
You need a keyboard for the Space bar, so a Chromebook or laptop works. A phone has no Space key, so a touchscreen may not work well. Test it first if you try one, and expect a keyboard to give the best result.
Is Stellar Bloom unblocked at school?
Stellar Bloom unblocked depends on your network. It runs in a normal browser tab, so if this page opens, the game should too.
Does every planet look different in Stellar Bloom?
Yes. The size of each flower depends on how many stars you grab in one jump, so a planet can be a wild forest of huge flowers or a tidy garden, depending on how you play.
