About Sleep&Eat

Sleep&Eat is a puzzle platformer built around two opposites. Eat is a bubbly, hungry pink girl who wants to munch through life. Sleepy is a calm, very tired girl who wants a nap, always. You need both of them to get through each room.

The puzzles come from switching between the two and using what each one does best. There are seven levels, and the look is part cute and part psychedelic, with a pink-versus-monochrome style that's hard to miss.

You can play Sleep&Eat online in a browser tab. It was made in 48 hours for a game jam, so the levels are short and the ideas come quickly.

How to Play Sleep&Eat

  • Click inside the game window first, then try the keyboard to move your character.
  • Look at each room before you move and think about which girl should go first.
  • Switch between Eat and Sleepy to use what each one does best.
  • Work through the seven levels in order.
  • Take your time. The room is a small puzzle, and the answer comes from planning.

What to Expect in Sleep&Eat

Expect a short, quirky puzzle platformer. Two opposite characters means each level asks you to think in two directions at once, and the contrast between them is both the joke and the mechanic.

The art is bold: bright pink against monochrome, with strong, saturated colors throughout. That's worth knowing if vibrant combinations bother your eyes.

At seven levels it's a quick play. Sleep&Eat free in the browser makes a good lunch-break puzzle, and it rewards a bit of lateral thinking.

Tips for Sleep&Eat

  • Think about which character a room is made for before you move either one.
  • Try the unexpected. In this game, sleeping and eating are both part of the answer.
  • If you're stuck, switch characters and look at the room again.
  • Take a break from the bright colors if they get tiring, then come back.
  • Work through the levels in order. Each one builds on the idea of the last.

FAQ

Is Sleep&Eat free?

Yes, Sleep&Eat costs nothing. It runs on this page, so you can start right away.

How do you play Sleep&Eat?

Click inside the game window, then use the keyboard to move your character. Switch between Eat and Sleepy to use what each of them does best. Plan each room, since the answer usually involves both characters working together.

What is the goal of Sleep&Eat?

Get both characters through seven puzzle levels. Eat is a bubbly, hungry girl who wants to munch, and Sleepy is a calm, tired girl who wants a nap. Using both of them together is how you finish each room.

Does Sleep&Eat have flashing or bright colors?

Yes, a lot of color. The pink-versus-monochrome look is bold and psychedelic, with vibrant combinations that can feel intense. If bright colors bother you, play in shorter sessions and take a break between levels.

Who made Sleep&Eat?

fallenatlas made Sleep&Eat and released it on itch.io. What you're playing here is that original build.

Can I play Sleep&Eat on a Chromebook or phone?

A Chromebook or laptop is the best fit, since the game uses a keyboard to move. A phone is a poor match for a puzzle platformer that needs two characters and precise controls, so use a computer if you can.

Is Sleep&Eat unblocked at school?

Sleep&Eat unblocked depends on your network. It runs in a normal browser tab, so if this page opens, the game should too.

How many levels are in Sleep&Eat?

There are seven levels. That's short, but each one is built around the two characters' opposite abilities, so the puzzles stay interesting. The game was made in 48 hours for a game jam, so the ideas come quickly.
