About Zombotron Re-Boot
Zombotron Re-Boot is a 2D action-platformer and zombie shooter set on Zombotron, a planet people colonized once, then abandoned and forgot, for reasons nobody knows.
You play Blaze Rush, a freelance mercenary drifting through space in search of work. He gets a distress call from a mysterious planet missing from his charts and goes to help. The rescue fails, and now he has to survive, help the people who need him, and solve the mystery of what happened there.
Expect zombies, robots and other strange monsters. You can play Zombotron Re-Boot online here, and it's Zombotron Re-Boot free to play with no download. It has physics and gamepad support.
How to Play Zombotron Re-Boot
- Click inside the game window, then try the keyboard and mouse to control Blaze Rush.
- A gamepad also works if you prefer one.
- Move through the planet, shoot the enemies and jump across platforms.
- Deal with zombies, robots and other monsters before they reach you.
- Keep exploring to help the people in need and find out what happened to the planet.
What to Expect in Zombotron Re-Boot
It mixes platforming and shooting in a sci-fi setting. The story gives it a clear shape: a rescue gone wrong, a planet with a secret, and a mercenary who has to figure it out while staying alive.
The physics side matters. Objects and enemies in a physics-based 2D game react in uneven ways, so combat is about more than aiming. Watch how things move and fall, and use that.
The enemy list is varied, with zombies, robots and other mysterious monsters, so fights should not feel samey. It suits short, focused sessions: push through a section, meet a new enemy or a piece of the story, then take a break.
Tips for Zombotron Re-Boot
- Keep moving. Standing still in a platform shooter is usually a mistake.
- Use the platforms for cover and for a better angle.
- Try a gamepad if keyboard and mouse feel clumsy.
- Watch how physics objects behave before you rely on them.
- Take on groups one at a time where you can, and retreat to open ground when you're swamped.
