About Party Project

Party Project is a party game built around boards and minigames. You move around a board with friends, and every round ends in a quick minigame that decides who gets ahead.

There's a lot packed in: more than 30 boards, with plenty of remixed classics and a few originals, plus over 100 minigames. Boards, minigames and a Tournament Mode keep rounds varied. It can be played versus or as co-op, and it's still a work in progress.

A session runs about half an hour. You can play Party Project online in your browser, and Party Project free of any download is an easy way to start a game night.

How to Play Party Project

  • Press Home to return to the main menu.
  • Press F2 to reload your last saved turn in Board Match, or the last round in Tournament Mode.
  • Press F11 for fullscreen.
  • Press F12 to take a screenshot.
  • Play the minigames that come up between turns and aim to finish ahead.

What to Expect in Party Project

This is a casual party game, so the point is shared laughter more than skill. Minigames are short, and the board gives everyone something to chase.

It's a work in progress, so expect a game that's still growing. If you like board-based party games with lots of small challenges, there's plenty here. The 2D look keeps things light.

Tips for Party Project

  • Press F2 if a turn goes badly and you want to reload the last save.
  • Use F11 for fullscreen. A bigger screen makes the minigames easier to read.
  • Try different boards. The roster is large, and each one plays a little differently.
  • Play in a group. The game is at its best with more than one person.
  • If you use a controller, make sure it's an XInput one, since that's the type the game accepts.

Who Made Party Project

Party Project was made by Char and released on itch.io. It's built in Construct. One lead handled programming, art and design, with a team of helpers on programming, design, art and playtesting. FunClicker embeds the creator's own version so you can play it here without downloading anything. We did not make the game, and the credit for its design, code, and art belongs to its creator. You can find the original on the Party Project page on itch.io.

FAQ

Is Party Project free?

Yes. Party Project is free to play here, with nothing to buy and nothing to install.

How do you play Party Project?

Play the minigames as they come up, and remember the shortcuts: Home returns to the main menu, F2 reloads the last turn or round, F11 is fullscreen and F12 takes a screenshot in Party Project.

What is the goal in Party Project?

Win the board and the minigames. Party Project mixes board play with quick minigames, in versus or co-op, and the goal is to come out ahead of everyone else at the end.

Who made Party Project?

That's Char. Party Project came out on itch.io, and we link back to it from this page.

Can I play Party Project on a Chromebook or phone?

A laptop or Chromebook with a keyboard is the best fit, and a controller can help. A phone is a poor match, because Party Project expects more input than a touch screen offers.

Is Party Project unblocked at school?

It might be. Party Project unblocked needs only a browser tab, and whether that tab opens is up to your school's filter.

Does Party Project support controllers?

Yes, but only certain ones. Party Project accepts XInput controllers. If yours does not work, it may need special drivers, or you can try Steam Input by running it as a non-Steam game.

How many boards and minigames are in Party Project?

More than 30 boards and over 100 minigames. Many boards are remixed classics, and a few are originals, so Party Project has plenty of variety even though it's still being built.
