About STICKER/BALL (Demo)

STICKER/BALL (Demo) is a deck-building roguelite where you fire balls at dice. Each hit scores points, and a ricochet back off the dice scores even more. The goal is a high score, and the run ends when you're out of balls.

The stickers are the heart of it. You collect them in all sorts of forms, including spiders, poop and a clown, and they interact in strange ways. Poop attracts flies. Spiders spin webs. Webs catch flies, and that means more points for you. Between shots you fight your way through a gauntlet of odd opponents and keep stacking up combos.

The demo includes more than 50 stickers and 16 enemies, so there's plenty to try. A session can stretch to a few hours. You can play STICKER/BALL (Demo) online in your browser, and STICKER/BALL (Demo) free of any download makes it easy to see what the full game is aiming for.

How to Play STICKER/BALL (Demo)

  • Click inside the game window first, then try the mouse to aim and fire a ball.
  • Hit dice with your balls to score points, and let the balls ricochet back for even more.
  • Collect stickers as you go. They change how your shots score.
  • Look for sticker combinations, like spiders with flies, that boost your points.
  • Beat the opponents in each fight and keep your balls going.
  • When you run out of balls, the run is over, so start again with what you learned.

What to Expect in STICKER/BALL (Demo)

It's loud, silly and a bit gross in a funny way, with arcade scoring and roguelite rules underneath. Each run builds a different set of stickers, so you're always working out which combinations pay off.

Losing is part of the loop. Once the balls run out you start again, and the next run goes better because you know which stickers worked. If you like score-chasing games, deck builders and a bit of nonsense, it's a fit. This is a demo, so it's a slice of a bigger game.

Tips for STICKER/BALL (Demo)

  • Aim for ricochets. A shot that bounces back scores more than one that stops.
  • Look for sticker pairs. Spiders and flies are an easy combo to remember.
  • Do not take every sticker. Pick the ones that work together.
  • Count your balls. Every one you lose gets you closer to the end of the run.
  • After a loss, think about what combo worked and try to build it again.
