About Anticure

Anticure puts you in charge of a disease. Colonists have settled your land, so you spread a mind-controlling virus from person to person until the land is yours again. It's played on a small voxel map seen from an isometric angle.

Everything happens with mouse clicks. You pick where the infection starts and watch it travel through the huts. It's a puzzle of spread and order more than a fight, and zombies are part of the picture.

A full playthrough takes 10 to 15 minutes. You can play Anticure online for free in your browser.

How to Play Anticure

  • Click to place the infection.
  • Press R to restart the level.
  • Press M to mute the music.
  • Press H to hide the hints.

What to Expect in Anticure

Anticure rewards thinking. You study the map, work out how the virus can reach everyone, and click. A restart costs one key press, so testing a different order is cheap.

The voxel huts and tiles look like a toy diorama, the tone is cartoonish, and there's little gore despite the dark premise.

Tips for Anticure

  • Restart freely with R. Trying another order is the fastest way to learn the map.
  • Follow the hints on your first pass, then hide them with H once you've got the idea.
  • Check how the infection reaches each hut before you commit to a click.
  • Mute with M if you want to think in silence.
  • Take your time. Nothing runs against a clock.

Who Made Anticure

Anticure was made by icxon and released on itch.io. Made in Unity with MagicaVoxel for the tiles and huts, and Audacity for some sounds. Music from a free music archive. FunClicker embeds the creator's own version so you can play it here without downloading anything. We did not make the game, and the credit for its design, code, and art belongs to its creator. You can find the original on the Anticure page on itch.io.

FAQ

Is Anticure free?

Yes. You can play Anticure in your browser for free, and there's no account to make.

How do you play Anticure?

Click with the mouse to spread the virus. R restarts the level, M mutes the music and H hides the hints. There's no movement or aiming, so the controls take seconds to learn, and you can spend your effort on the puzzle instead.

What is the goal in Anticure?

You're the disease. Spread the virus through the colonists and take control of them so the land is free again. Each level is a small puzzle about where to start and what to infect next, and the order you pick makes all the difference.

Who made Anticure?

Anticure comes from icxon, who published it on itch.io. We embed that build and link to the original.

Can I play Anticure on a Chromebook or phone?

A Chromebook or laptop is the best fit, since the shortcuts for restart, mute and hints are keyboard keys. Clicking works on a touchscreen, but you'd lose those shortcuts, so a computer gives you the full set of controls.

How long is Anticure?

About 10 to 15 minutes from start to finish. That makes Anticure a short strategy game you can finish in one sitting, though you may restart a few times while you find the best order for spreading the virus.

Is Anticure unblocked at school?

If your school's filter allows FunClicker, Anticure unblocked runs right in the tab. Filters differ from one network to the next, so it's worth a quick try.

Is Anticure a zombie game?

Partly. Zombies are part of the theme, and your virus takes people over, but it's not a shooter. It's a strategy puzzle played with clicks on a voxel map, with a cartoon look that keeps the mood light.
